The Gulf Stream research platform is central to our fundamental approach to credit underwriting and investing. From inception, we have sought to attract and retain research talent with the expertise, seniority and breadth necessary to thoroughly analyze corporate credits. Research analysts review monthly and quarterly earnings versus internal projections as well as perform a variety of periodic analytical work, including industry sector reviews and watchlist credit updates. Analysts follow industry trends through frequent interactions with management teams, industry conferences, trade shows and trade publications.

In addition to monitoring individual credit performance, research analysts are responsible for providing insight into broader industry issues, such as competitive forces and regulatory trends, within the context of the current financial market environment.
